Local Hiking Tours

Hiking on local trails provide people an opportunity to unplug from their devices and daily routines and plug into the spirit of exploring and having fun! Being out in nature refreshes, re-calibrates and restores us, and opens our minds to new ways of seeing, being and relating to the world around and within us.

Hike, Bike, Kayak, Camp. These adventures take place our local trails in a beautiful natural setting. The emphasis is on safety and having a fun-filled experience. Participants often feel like they have been on vacation for a day. We cross streams, hike along rivers and through forests, climb mountains, and observe wildlife and waterfalls.

The extensive trails of New Jersey, New York Pennsylvania are truly amazing. Come and explore with us! Local area hikes include: Schooley’s Mountain, Coopermill Park, Jockey Hollow National Park, The NJ Audubon, Lewis Morris Park, Merrill Creek Reservoir, Harriman State Park, Bear Mountain, Weis Ecology Center, Mohonk Mountain House Preserve and the Shawanagunks, Delaware Water Gap and Mt. Tammany, Jim Thorpe, and more!

High Altitude Training:
Set in the beautiful San Juan Mountains of Telluride, Colorado. This experience combines the rugged beauty and challenge of the mountains with the luxury of the Peaks Resort and Spa, as well as the unique and charming town of Telluride and its many renowned festivals and events.

Trail Running Training:
Learn trail running, or train for a short or long distance trail event with Susan. She will guide you on the trails, educate, and share tips, and strategies for a safe and fun filled experience!
